Creamsicle Nice Cream

Because you know I'm all about them bowls, bout them bowls... If you can't already tell, I love me some nice cream bowls. I love them as an after dinner snack and there's sooo many different ways to make them. I'm not one of those people that can't survive without ice cream (now, don't get me wrong, I love a good bowl of ice cream, but I wouldn't give my left arm for it). But every once in a while ya just need a big ol' healthy bowl of NICE CREAM. It's also a great way to sneak your protein in for all you people out there who need more protein in your diet (like me).

Aside from the fact that they're magically delicious and can be loaded with preeeetty much any toppings you want, making these bowls is SO easy. Here's one of my latest nice cream bowls, and get used to them cause you'll see them a lot!

gluten free


1 cup frozen mandarin oranges
1 scoop vanilla whey protein
1/2 cup unsweetened coconut milk
2 tbsp vanilla yogurt

Directions: Friendly tip* Set your bowl in the freezer for about 30 minutes prior to making this, if you don't want it to start melting the second it hits the bowl. Combine all ingredients and blend until smooth. Pour into bowl, and set in freezer again for 15-20 minutes before eating. Top with your favorite stuff! Granola, coconut flakes, nuts, fruit, dried fruit, chocolate, etc.
