February Reflection and Training Recap

I know a lot of people don't understand why I do it, and some never well. The truth is, the quiet mornings that I spend with the pavement are what I live for. Pushing my legs to new limits, finding peace, and discovering strength I never knew I had. The sweat and tears (sometimes) is what makes me feel alive. It makes me feel like I can conquer anything. It makes me feel STRONG.

Here I am, getting ready to close out week 10 of Boston Marathon Training, and almost 6 weeks out from the race. February was a good month; a tough month. Saying goodbye to it with a total of 177.6 miles run, 35.6 miles biked, and about 9 hours of strength training. This week I took some time to reflect on what worked and didn't work this month, to stretch out my legs, and plan for the month ahead. I'm ready to bring it just as hard in March as I did in February for the last full month of training.

Except I will be stronger.
