Homemade Pesto

I'm making two recipes this week that call for pesto. I love pesto but only ever have it when I go to restaurants because I wasn't sure how to make it. I found a recipe and made it tonight with my new magic bullet! I rationed out the portions I need for each recipe and froze the rest. I tasted it and it's definitely spot on.

Ingredients:
2 cups or 2 handfulls of fresh basil leaves
1/4 cup toasted pine nuts
2 cloves of garlic
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
juice from half a lemon
salt and pepper

Directions: Add basil, pine nuts, and garlic to a food processor. Pulse until coarsely chopped. While running, pour in lemon juice and olive oil. Once combined, move to a new bowl and add cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
