I have two tips for healthy dessert here. My first is pretty groundbreaking for me. I JUST found out that I like peanut butter. I think I've eaten the entire jar in my week at home. My new craze is sliced apples with peanut butter. It's not a very difficult concept, and I know that most people already do it... but if you haven't, try it.. I DARE YOU.
Second, everyone always thinks "chocolate, fruit---chocolate covered strawberries". I'm gonna dare you to change it up. My new found obsession, aside from the apples and peanut butter, is dark chocolate with orange flavor. I also really like salty and sweet together. I always have clementines lying around, so I dipped my little pieces of clementine in some melted dark chocolate, sprinkled it with some sea salt, and popped them in the fridge for a bit. When they harden, bon appetit. So delicious, and not too bad for you! Definitely better than eating a chocolate bar.
Oh, did I mention how difficult it was for me to write about that? I gave up chocolate for lent. WOMP WOMP.
